1. Information We Collect
Deja Dress does not collect personal information. All data you enter — events, outfits, guests, and wardrobe items — is stored on your device and never transmitted to our servers. Backup files you create yourself may place a copy in your chosen storage location. We operate no servers that hold your personal data.
2. Anonymous Analytics
In the app. We collect anonymous, non-identifiable usage data via TelemetryDeck. This data contains no personal information and cannot be traced back to you. Analytics are enabled by default and can be turned off at any time in Settings.
On this website. This website also uses TelemetryDeck to record anonymous usage statistics, such as which pages are viewed. No personal information is collected, and the data cannot be traced back to you or used to identify you across other websites. TelemetryDeck does not use cookies, local storage, or session storage — the analytics itself stores nothing in your browser. The Settings toggle described above controls the app only; it does not apply to this website. You can opt out of website analytics using the control below.
Website Analytics Opt-Out
We count page views to see which pages are useful. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no profile. Your IP address is turned into a code that changes daily and cannot be traced back to you.
If you make a choice here, it is stored only on your device (one local storage entry) so we can remember it. Nothing is stored if you never use this control. Your browser's Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals are also honoured automatically.
3. Contacts
If you grant access to your contacts, this is used solely to populate guest lists within the app. Contact data is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties.
4. Camera and Photos
Camera and photo library access is used only to add images to your wardrobe items and outfits. Photos are stored on your device and are never sent to our servers. If you include photos in a backup file you create, that copy goes to your own iCloud account or chosen storage location — wherever you save the file.
5. Location
Location access is used only to suggest venue addresses when creating events and to provide weather forecasts via Apple WeatherKit. Location data is never stored on our servers.
6. Calendar
Calendar access is optional and used only to sync events you create in Deja Dress with your iOS calendar. Calendar data is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties; where it syncs beyond your device, it does so through your own iOS calendar account. Only the event title, date, location, and notes are synced — outfit details remain private to the app and are never included.
7. Data Security
All app data is stored on your iOS device and protected by your device's built-in security. We hold no keys and have no access to your data. Backup files you export are optionally password-encrypted; if you set a password, only you can decrypt them, and we cannot recover it for you.
8. Children's Privacy
Deja Dress is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
9. Website Contact Form
If you use the contact form on this website, the details you submit (name, email address, subject, and message) are used solely to respond to your enquiry and are not shared with third parties. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Change History
August 2026 — Added a website analytics opt-out control and stated explicitly that TelemetryDeck's analytics uses no cookies, local storage, or session storage; browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals are now honoured. Also: removed section 10 (iCloud Sync) and all related references in the summary and sections 1, 3, 4, and 7 — iCloud sync will not ship. Contact Us renumbered to section 10. Section 2 also expanded to state separately that this website records anonymous usage statistics, and that the in-app Settings toggle does not control it.
July 2026 — Added section 9 covering the website contact form and Google reCAPTCHA. Clarified throughout that your data is never sent to our servers, and added section 10 covering optional iCloud sync (later removed, see above).
